Students in their second year and up made their way to the Great Hall and sat down at their respected tables, chatting animately with their housemates and friends. It wasn't long before the first years entered and the sorting ceremony began. Some thought this event was all rather exciting, but for Charisma, it was just something that happened every year that prolonged the wait for the feast.
Nevertheless, she clapped and cheered with the others when someone was sorted into Gryffindor but that was pretty much all the attention they received from her. If the benches had backs to them, she would have been leaning back in a more comfortable position as she was already drumming her fingers on the table and glancing about the Great Hall with mild interest. She jumped slightly when someone a few seats down from her let out a loud "whoop" in response to the sorting hat shouting "Gryffindor!"
She clapped as well, giggling quietly to herself at the relieved though slightly nervous look on the first year's face as she quickly sat at the table. She vividly remembered her own sorting ceremony. After being sorted into Gryffindor, the short and excited girl had clapped eagerly with a squeal of delight and practically skipped over to her table. Whether this reaction was because of pure anticipation or the fact that she had had a few suckers and/or pieces of chocolate on the train, she never knew.
OoC| Bleh. Sorry if that post made no sense... I am so out of it. =D
