Name/Nicknames: Charisma Carter -- Riss -- Little Miss Riss
Age: 17
Year: Seventh
House: Gryffindor (Note: Other made-ups will be sorted by admin here. Riss was sorted on another forum.)
Blood: Half
Physical Description
Charisma brings on every appearance of innocence, but don't let this decieve you. Her grey-blue eyes sparkle with childlike mischief that rarely diminishes. Her dark chocolate brown hair reaches just past her shoulders and is naturally straight though she often wears it in loose curls about her shoulders. Her skin is naturally fair though from all the time she spends outside, it usually has a lightly sun-kissed glow.
Charisma is rather short for her age, standing at about 5'4". She has a slender build, weighing about 110 or so, and because of this, she is often mistaken for someone two years her junior. She has also been the butt of many jokes because of it, but the way she looks at it, she would rather be too short than too tall.
As for fashion aside from the regular school robes, Riss is usually casual. Jeans and a fitted tee are usually what you can find her in. Flip-flops are a must for her, the only time she forsakes them being winter when she ventures outside, and she has quite a few pairs. She does have a fetish for accessories, however. Hats, scarves, jewely, or anything else she can get her hands on, she usually will.
Personality:
There have been many words that described Charisma rather well. She was a leader and loved to be in charge of things she was certain she could handle. There were few times she didn't know what to do and when that came around, she could get in a rather sour mood. She feels like she must be in the loop about everything, having had many things hidden from her during her childhood.
Riss is also very kind hearted. She is willing to lend a helping hand when it is needed to whoever needs it. She has been a shoulder to cry on and a buffer to shout and rant at. She is loyal to her friends and would do almost anything for them. Almost, meaning, she wouldn't if it was potentially damaging to them. The phrase: "True Friends Stab You In The Face" never applied any better to another person. She isn't too afraid of confrontation and you'll certainly find out if she doesn't like something.
Charisma is extremely stubborn. Once she sets her mind to something, it is a futile hope to try to get her to change it. She has also been called eccentric, which her Pepe tells her she got from her mother. Randomness is something she loves and is always ready to do something for no apparent reason. She was described by her grandfather as being a stick of dynamite, meaning that she was a short package that could pack quite the punch.
History
Parents: Keith Carter -- Father, muggle. Deceased.
Adrianna Lyndon -- Mother, witch. Deceased.
Sibling (s): None.
Overall History:
As a child, young Riss seemed fearless. She learned to walk at an early age and when she tumbled down stairs in a failed attempt to climb them, she would jump right up and try again. She hardly ever screamed when a vicious dog barked or when a bully tried to steal her lunch money. Why? Well, when she was just a little drink of water, her grandfather sat her on his knee and told her: "You come from a line of good people, lass. Good, brave people. Don't ever let anything scare you off, y'hear? Never." Of course, being as she was only a couple months old at the time, she merely giggled and spit up.
Her grandfather told her this many, many times afterwards and nearly in every letter he wrote from Hogwarts, he reminded her of this. Hogwarts, you ask? Oh, I'm sorry, I'm getting ahead of myself.
When Riss was four years old, her parents died in a car accident on their way for an anniversary get-away and she was shipped off to Ireland to live with her Grandpa Tom and Grandma Kassidy, or Pepe and Meme. The town she grew up in a small town with rolling green hills covered with grazing sheep. She loved the quiet life but when she received a letter at the age of eleven telling her that her mum was a witch and that she would be accepted at Hogwarts should she decided to come, she took the chance to try something new. And she loved it.
During her first year back in London, Charisma devoted most of her time to finding out more about her parents. It seemed that Adrianna Lyndon was a French witch who married a British muggle while visiting the London area. Her mother had gone to Beauxbatons and was a fairly good student there. As for her father, he was a respectable muggle businessman who fell in love with an eccentric French witch. Other than this, however, Riss still had much to find out. This has been a source of endless frustration as she feels she should remember what they looked like, having spent four years with them.

"Hey! That one wasn't too bad."
A triumphant smile was placed firmly on the lips of the sixteen year old Gryffindor as she bent down to search for another smooth stone with which to skip. You may be thinking that four skips was not a very great feat, but for Ms. Charisma Carter, it was. She was not known for her expertise in rock-skipping though she found it very addicting. Some people do it to calm themselves because it is supposedly peaceful, but that was not so with her. Some times, she would get so frustrated that she couldn't get past two skips she would merely start throwing larger rocks into the lake. Maybe not the best idea in the world because of the Squid that is supposedly living underneath the glossy surface of the lake, but so far she hadn't had any problems. Once she got tired of doing so, she'd sit down for a few moments before trying again.
Charisma ran a hand over the rocks on the ground to find a few to her liking and when she did, she pocketed them and returned to her earlier position. She inhaled the fresh air deeply, fully enjoying being outside even if it wasn't the most beautiful of days. She glanced back at the school, brushing aside a few of her dark locks which the slight breeze blew into her face as she did so. She knew she might have to head back inside soon as darkness was fast approaching. Detention during her first weekend didn't sound like fun.
But she pushed this thought out of her mind and decided if she was to get caught, she would plead ignorance. Better to ask for forgiveness then permission, right? She gave a slight nod and proceeded to skip another rock.
Skip. Sk-ploosh.
